Our Mission Statement
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are an inclusive community responding to God’s love and grace. We nurture one another on our spiritual journeys. We work for peace and justice. We serve others and God’s creation. Together, we seek God’s creative transformation of the world and of individual hearts.
About Us
Our congregation strives to nurture spirits, work toward justice and faithfully serve others. We oppose discrimination and stand in unity against the exclusion, marginalization or devaluation of any person or group. No matter who you are or what your story, you are welcome at Claremont UMC.
Claremont United Methodist Church is a member of the California-Pacific Conference, a regional body of The United Methodist Church, based in Pasadena, comprised of more than 50,000 members in nearly 350 churches throughout Southern California, parts of Central California, Hawaii, the Pacific Islands, Guam and Saipan.
